SYSTEM IDENTITY
F4 Thermo is an improved version of F4 Elite, regarding the thermal insulation properties of the construction. It is an ideal combination for maximum thermal insulation, waterproofing and sound insulation. It consists of panels that carry double crystals, framed by aluminum profiles with a thermal break. The thermal break is achieved with polyamide strips (a material with a low coefficient of thermal conductivity) which are inserted between the inner and outer parts of the aluminum profile in order to prevent the transfer of heat outside the building. For even more protection, the F4 Thermo folding door system also has a thermal break on the aluminum guide. The sum of these and some other characteristics gives a final heat transmission coefficient of Uw=1.74 W/m2K.
The system’s vertical aluminum profiles are designed to mesh with each other, closing the gaps in between. They have additional rubbers to ensure a completely airtight and watertight effect, while in the horizontal profiles, waterproofing is also achieved with rubbers.
A lock is placed at arm’s length on each glass door. In addition, each intermediate leaf has the possibility to function as an opening / deflecting door (single or double leaf) by adding a mechanism to the upper part of the door.
The heat-breakable aluminum guide from which we hang the sheets has cross-sectional dimensions of 75x78mm. The maximum dimensions of each sheet reach 300cm in height and 120cm in width. The opening / deflecting door cannot exceed 100cm wide. The maximum allowed weight of each sheet is 150kg.
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

– Basic dimensions: Lower rubble 105mm – upper rubble 105mm, aluminum guide 75x72mm, total thickness of intermediate vertical frame 60mm.
